Yesterday’s motions hearing in the Walker v. Kimberlin, et al. lawsuit that I expected could have lasted over an hour was over in less than 15 minutes. Judge Mason was clearly up to date on the pleadings, and when The Dread Pro-Se Kimberlin tried to tell him that Maryland case law did not allow for a malicious prosecution lawsuit, the judge gonged him and administered what is known as a “bench slap.”
So now the case will go forward. The judge said that he would consult with the scheduling office and issue a scheduling order with the expectation that a three-day trial may be necessary. Discovery is next.
Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.
