As far as I’m concerned, the Hoge v. Kimberlin, et al. lawsuit will be tried in the Circuit Court for Carroll County, Maryland. It won’t be tried on the Internet. From time to time, I’ll publish news about the case, but I won’t argue it here.

One of the newsworthy things that has happened is the illegal posting of some courtroom audio by one (or more) of the defendants. Publishing all or part of the written transcript of an open Maryland court proceeding is OK. However, broadcasting (including Internet posts) of courtroom audio or video is regulated by Maryland Rule 16-109 and the administrative orders of various courts.
